Same team. Same network. Same obsession with making recruitment feel less like a chore. Just a new name that fits a bit better.
We're Priority Tech now, and we wanted to properly explain why, rather than just quietly swapping a logo and hoping nobody noticed.
Where We Started
Priority Recruitment was founded back in 2012 with a fairly simple aim: make recruitment more personal, more straightforward, and more effective than the industry's reputation suggested it could be.
In 2019, we launched a specialist division into an emerging, fast-moving corner of tech: Priority Crypto. Since then, we've supported hundreds of businesses and delivered thousands of placements across international markets, working with everyone from early-stage Web3 startups to established blockchain infrastructure players.
That's the part of our story most of you already know us for.
Why the Change
Here's the thing: our clients moved on from being purely crypto and Web3 businesses a while ago. Over the past couple of years, we've been placing software engineers, product leaders, and security specialists just as often as we've been placing blockchain developers and Web3 community managers. The word "Crypto" in our name stopped describing what we actually do, and started limiting who thought to call us.
So we've rebuilt the brand around what our work has genuinely become: recruitment across Digital, Tech, and Cyber, three connected markets that increasingly overlap, and that all move at the same relentless pace.
What's Actually New

Three clear specialisms, one team:
- Digital – Create & Connect. Product, transformation, and marketing talent across UX, UI, e-commerce, SaaS, CRM, and data, from Product Managers to Digital Directors.
- Tech – Design & Build. Technology and engineering talent across software, cloud, AI, data, and DevOps, from Software Engineers to CTOs.
- Cyber – Protect & Defend. Cyber security and information security talent across cloud security, AppSec, SecOps, and threat intelligence, from Security Engineers to CISOs.
A sharper visual identity, a new logo, new colours...
And a genuinely global network behind it: our database now spans roughly 3 million candidates, with a footprint across EMEA, APAC, North America, and LATAM. We're based in Manchester, but "local" was never really the point.
What Hasn't Changed
The same people who've been finding you roles, or finding you talent, are still here. The same values are still driving how we work:
- Global Perspective – we recognise how interconnected the tech and digital talent market really is.
- Quality – we'd rather do fewer placements well than flood you with CVs that don't fit.
- Collaboration – we work with you, not just for you.
- Ease – recruitment should be simple, for candidates and clients alike. That's not a tagline, it's genuinely the point.
Our mission hasn't moved an inch either: to empower people through meaningful connections, cutting through the noise, breaking down barriers, and making tech recruitment easy. If anything, the new name just makes that easier to say out loud.
What This Means for You
If you're a candidate, nothing changes on your end. Same team, same network, same conversations, just under a name that actually reflects the breadth of roles we're working on.
If you're a client, this is worth paying attention to: we're not diversifying away from our expertise, we're formalising it. Whether you're hiring a Rust developer, a CISO, or a Head of Digital Transformation, you're talking to the same specialists who've spent years building relationships across these exact markets.
Curious what's changed, or just want to see who we're hiring for right now? Get in touch, we'd genuinely rather talk it through than have you guess from a logo.
